The Hudson Hornet cop car by Matchbox, another nice casting I found at the 99 cent store:
Completely forgot to post this on here last week. If you follow me on Instagram though, you’ve already gotten to see it! When Rainbow posted last week about Dollar General’s crazy Hot Wheels and Matchbox buy-1-get-2-free sale, I immediately searched for the closest Dollar General to my office, and headed straight…
Hot Wheels did it! They made my day, by making my car, in the SRT8 casting rather than the (also awesome) Drift casting, as a Treasure Hunt!
The German five-oh are known for having some pretty sweet rides. Guess they decided to go old school custom here! This is a Maisto cast I found while in vacation, and it’s one of my favorite recent finds. This Samba’s got some pep in its step, hahaha!
The card and the site says Ford Custom, but it’s clearly a Ford Galaxie. This amazing black police car was on the amazing box Frosted sent me on our iHWEP! ‘Twas a bit hard to catch on photo but on the matte door there’s a police logo in shiny black. So stealthy!
How wacky can you get when the name of the model even (almost) rhymes with the theme. Here is the 1/64 Hot Wheels Redline Paddy Wagon originally released in 1970 based on a design by Tom Daniels.
Comes with automatic steering as indicated on the box. Are you ready to tow?
Latest model from the Brazilian Service Vehicles: A VW Brasília from the Polícia Rodoviária (Brazilian Highway Patrol) from my state, Santa Catarina!!!! Although when I was a kid those were no longer in service, our Police restored some and keep them in pristine condition. I’m so in love with this cast...
I started rotating the cars in my display, which will now let me keep on posting more of my collection. This is a Police Chevrolet Impala from Majorette (not sure if cops in the USA ever used Impalas at some point), it is a nice solid car, with metal base and some nice interior details, one of the few Majorette…
I’m writing this post prior to midnight, but I know it won’t post until a little bit later than that. Please forgive my tardiness. My last few pieces of my Tomica order finally came in from Japan this week, which I will feature as I have time. This one I wanted to go ahead and bust-out today though, to honor French…
This is the Hot Wheels portion of my Gen 1 (2005-2010) LX Charger SRT8 collection. I have a carded (where applicable) and DLM’d copy of each of these.
I don’t know how many of you have seen the news today (and it’s made national news), but there was a shooting last night in Downtown Charleston, about 15 minutes away from my house. A 21 year old young man sat through a Bible Study and as it was finishing, shot and killed 9 different people, including the pastor, who…
This Sunday’s matchup is a JL Chevy Impala vs a JL Chevy Bel-Air.
Read more on Lamley! (My phone won’t copy-paste, but it’s the first article.)
Continuing with the Japanese police theme from last week, I bring to you this R32 Nissan Skyline GT-R from Tomica Limited’s HIGHWAY PATROL COLLECTION III - GT-R vs Z
So continuing with my last post, I went out looking for more police cars and returned with this,
I’ve always had an on and off kinda thing for police cars mainly because they have this unique quality that makes them unique and similar at the same time. Ever since I got back into collecting recently, I have not bought a police car... Until now, in fact, I bought two.
As Phillip so deftly extracted from me this morning, I was able to find the first assortment of models in the new Matchbox Supreme Heroes premium line yesterday in a SW Ohio Meijer store.
I went to the local TRU on my lunch break today looking for stuff for my daughter's birthday and took a quick look down the "car aisle." My daughter is 2, but already is in love with Hot Wheels, and Porsches in particular (what can I say she's got great taste). So I went looking for a 911 or two and came up…
I really try not to buy more variations of castings that I already have. I also really, really fail quite a lot. Sigh... Here's another failure - the Police Version of the Corolla Levin. I am not sure that the Police ever used this car - but that didn't stop me from wanting it anyway.
