Small. Silver. Speedster.
Hard Top or...
Sorry guys, just three photos today for the Tuesday LaLD Rennsport as I didn’t have time yesterday, but see it as a preview to tomorrow’s post. :D
You mostly know him as one of the LaLD OGs, co-founder of #Team118, or simply as Sn210. He works almost exclusively in 1:18, but knowing he could use a challenge, we teamed up for a 1:64 photoshoot. And by “teamed up” I mean that I gave him two cars to shoot and he did literally all the work.
Pearl-white 356 + tear drop camper = instand getaway! I mean, what more do you need? The camper even has a stove in the back.
I couldn’t resist throwing this bad boy up there for some pics.
Crappy phone photos I took about 3 years ago, but the car is a Malibu International 1/87 model, so it counts! :D
No words. Just pictures.
It’s getting close to being done.
I might have gone too far.
This was a previous build, but it fits pretty perfectly in what the custom contest theme is, so I’ll throw it in the ring.
I’m going out of town this afternoon, so unfortunately I won’t really have time to take new photos. So here are some regurgitated ones of a custom silver speedster I made a while back.
For my 129th post, I will be participating on ‘Show your 356 day‘. I’ve shown some of the previous releases and will be showing them again (replay) plus I have a new one which I’m still working on the detailing and still deciding on which direction it is going for. So here are what Hot Wheels called Porsche 356A Outlaw…
An old maisto that has a lot of sentimental value to me. So dusty I decided to clean it up! Left the interior dust so it actually looks carpeted! Haha. Happy holidays!
When The Bell King told me about the Hitch & Tow set featuring a VW Type 2 pickup towing a little teardrop trailer, I instantly knew it would be the perfect shape and size to hitch up to a Porsche 356 Outlaw.
Since we’re on this subject, here’s my 2 variants.
I know we had 356 day only a couple of months ago but let’s make this Teutonic Tuesday one about Outlaws at least. Why? Because Scott (SN210) told us last week that the LaLD instagram account was being followed by none other than Mr. Outlaw himself: Magnus Walker.
One by me, and one by the great @5pudly on instagram.
I had posted this guy before with some minor changes, here are some more. I blacked out the metal center hubs for a completely black rim look. I painted over the urban outlaw logo on the hood and I de-tampoed the sides. The front suspension is a tiny bit lower than before.
